Last year, an iconic event was born and this year with your help, it grew to over double last year's size and impact. 

​

Unmask the Night, 2017 generated funds to guarantee success of several key projects critical to the state of awareness, care access and treatment of Mental Illness in Washington State and beyond:

• The October, 2017 Washington State Mental Health Summit in Seattle, an invitational event to create the building blocks for bold change and networks within Washington State. Click here for the KOMO4 story on the Summit.

• The follow-up event, 2018 Washington State Mental Health Summit to be held this coming Spring to include the greater Mental health community, driving execution of the 2017 event.

•  The generational ending of mental Illness stigma in Washington State through legislative efforts for the mandate of mental health literacy standards within Washington High School health classes.

• Supporting programs such as the pilot and roll out of the online version of Mental Health First Aid, support of the UW-led Early Psychosis Clinical Pathway and UW-DigiPen IT technology/therapeutic game development group.

• Create a scholarship stipend fund for Peer Mentor training

• Build a new awareness campaign of speaking events/Mental Health fairs to be called "Chad Chats".

• Support large-scale efforts between the National Council for Behavioral Health and The Houston Rotary to mobilize 200 trainers to provide Mental Health First Aid classes to Houstonians in the coming months.
